To make my shoulder piece I made a number of two different sized tassels. I placed the longer tassels (the white ones) together in a bunch and stitched them together. I did exactly the same with the smaller tassels (the purple ones). Finally I made the pom pom in the same colours as the tassels and stitched in place in the centre of the tassels.
I quicky drew up a quick sketch of what it might look like on my garment.
I first got my shoulder piece idea from looking at the class trend board. You learn so much from these as you see things that you didn't even know were on trend. As I found out pom poms were on trend I thought why not incorporate them in my garment.
